Hello Everyone, I hope this week is finding you healthy and well. Sorry I've missed a few updates. Things have been a bit busy here while I'm doing my yoga teacher training. I also had to prepare for a possible hurricane.
Are you all getting excited for Halloween? We're only a few short weeks away from one of my all time favorite holidays, and my anniversary. I know I've said it before, but, I absolutely love this time of year!
Fall is the one thing I miss about living in the Midwest, or even in California. Yes, we get summer pretty much year round here in the Sunshine State, but, I do miss the crisp fall air, the crunch of leaves under my feet, and the smell of fall. Rich with change and possibilities for the future. If you're in a state that is cooling off right now, enjoy the outdoors and the wonders that fall brings. Go apple picking, have a bonfire, enjoy the twilight before winter sets back in.

Fitness

A recent study revealed that inactivity can lead to accelerated aging and increase your dementia risk.
Make sure you get out there and keep moving.

Traditional fall activities are also great ways of keeping active. Go apple picking with your family. Wander through corn mazes, even go to a haunted house or two. These are all fun ways of being active without realizing it.
Nutrition
It's October, and you know what that means. Pumpkin will be everywhere, and with good reason. Pumpkin is a great source of fat soluble vitamin A. Vitamin A is an antioxidant that plays a vital role in healthy vision and skin and neurological function.

Peace, love, and happiness,
Kris
