I hope that everyone had an excellent Halloween! We have been enjoying the Fall weather here in central Florida with plenty of outdoors time.

Fitness
A classic 8 year study of 13,000 conducted at the Institute for Aerobics Research under the direction of Dr. Steven Blair found that those who walked the equivalent of 30 minutes a day had a significantly lower risk of premature death than those who rarely exercised.
A regular walking program can help:
Reduce Blood Cholesterol
Lower Blood Pressure
Increase Cardiovascular Endurance
Boost Bone Strength
Burn Calories and Keep Weight Down
And walking outside also helps battle depression and anxiety. Get out there and walk.

Nutrition
As the temperatures are dropping, it's the perfect time to break out some stews. I love stews because they are healthy and filling and can be made with so many vegetables! Check out my favorite beef stew recipe! It's a bit of work, but so worth it.
I mean, I use tempeh since I don't eat meat anymore, but it's still delicious!
