I hope that everyone is having a fantastic May, so far. We here in Florida are getting some wonderful, much needed, rain showers.

Fitness
I know that time is a huge factor in everyone's life. We all want more time to do more things with those that we love. We don't want to have to spend huge chunks of our precious time at the gym.

With that in mind, let's talk about working out our back as efficiently as possible. Just two, relatively, simple exercises will completely work out your back! Exciting.
You will want to complete 3 sets of 12-15 reps, using a weight that brings you to fatigue, of each of the following exercises:
Make sure you focus on good form, brace your abdominal muscles, and breath through the work.
Nutrition
This week, let's talk about mint. I love mint. It's so refreshing and relaxing. Inhaling the scent of it can open up your sinuses and awaken your mind. It has been shown to help calm upset stomachs and curb appetites. It's super low calorie while providing a ton of flavor and potassium. What a powerhouse!

There are so many amazing things a person can do with fresh mint. If you're still struggling with getting enough water to drink, you can try adding mint to your water and letting it infuse into it. It makes it exponentially more refreshing.

Mind Body Connection
A few months ago, I gave you the sun salutation yoga flow.

This week, continuing on the time crunch theme, I will give you a nice 5 minute yoga flow.
Go through the series of poses a few times, while focusing on your inner self, your breathing, and anything your body is telling you.
As with all yoga practice, try and calm your mind while going through the poses. Hopefully, you'll feel calmed and refreshed when you finish.
